Job summary

SYSTRA India invites applications for Expert-Sourcing/Procurement to join our teams working on advanced rail and transit projects in India. You will assist senior experts in managing procurements, contracts, and related processes across the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail context, with locations in Ahmedabad and Delhi.

The role requires a finance background and at least seven years in contract management during the construction phase of rail-based projects, including engagement with funding

Qualifications

• Graduate in finance or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in contract management during construction in rail-based transit projects.
• Experience with financing from bilateral/multilateral development banks preferred.
• Experience in procurement lifecycle, contract administration and dispute resolution advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing overall procurement lifecycle until contract closure.
• Support in contract administration including terminations, renegotiation and exit strategies.
• Assist in preparation of cost statements, claims submissions to multi-lateral funding institutions.
• Assist in cost breakdown structures, baseline project cost, budget and cashflow schedule.
• Help establish procedures for scope changes and legal matters.
• Support other roles as assigned by PD and Client (NHSRCL).

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Location:

Ahemedabad/Delhi

Missions/Main Duties

Assist Chief Expert-Contract & Dy. Chief Expert-Contract in performing tasks that shall include but not limited to the following:

• Assist in managing overall procurement life cycle till closure of contract.
• Assistance in entire Contract administration, including dispute resolution, contract terminations, contract renegotiation, exit strategies, establishing standard procedures & tools e.t.c.
• Assistance in Assessment of project long term financial statements and preparation, submission and disbursement of claims to multi-lateral funding institution(if applicable).
• Assistance in preparation of cost breakdown structure, creation of baseline project cost (under its scope), budget and cashflow schedule.
• Assistance in establishing procedures for any changes in the project criteria/scope.
• Assistance in legal matters.
• Any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification:

Graduate in field of finance

Experience

07 years of experience in contract management during construction phase in Railbased Transit System project(s)* funded by Bilateral/Multilateral Development Banks/Agencies.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railway projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
