Job summary

Mousuni Beach Canvas Resort on Mousuni Island, Namkhana, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, invites a passionate Chef to join our kitchen.

You will prepare Bengali, Chinese and Continental cuisines, maintain taste and quality, uphold hygiene, work independently with minimal supervision, and contribute to a collaborative hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Bengali, Chinese and Continental dishes.
• Strong cooking and plating skills with attention to detail.
• Maintain consistent taste and high quality across meals.
• Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage kitchen tasks independently and oversee food prep.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Team-oriented with passion for cooking.
• Relevant hotel/resort/restaurant experience preferred.

With experience in preparing:

• Bengali Cuisine
• Chinese Cuisine
• Continental Cuisine

What We’re Looking For

• Good knowledge of Bengali, Chinese & Continental dishes
• Strong food preparation and presentation skills
• Ability to maintain consistent taste and quality
• Excellent cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards
• Proactive and responsible approach to kitchen operations
• Ability to work independently and confidently with minimal supervision
• Expert in managing food preparation and kitchen responsibilities independently
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Team-oriented attitude and a passion for cooking
• Relevant hotel/resort/restaurant experience preferred
