Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Chassis Systems Engineer in Chennai, India, to drive design and development of brakes, suspension, wheels and tires using CATIA V5/3DX. You will create CAD models, drawings and GD&T for chassis components, and collaborate with D&R engineers and suppliers to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires extensive interaction across time zones, strong knowledge of CATIA V5/3DX, GD&T, and experience with Teamcenter Engineering or Vismockup.

• Extensive Knowledge in CATIA V5 / 3DX (GSD, Part Modelling, Drawing, Assembly & Kinematics)
• Expert in Sheetmetal design, Engineering operations, Manufacturing processes
• Good Knowledge and hands-on experience in GD&T
• Good Knowledge in Teamcenter Engineering & Vismockup
• Knowledge in WERS, GPDS & DPA 0/1, Ford Global Change Management (GCM) process would be an advantage
• Having flexibility to work across time zones as role involves extensive interaction globally

Job Description

• Expertise in Chassis Systems Design and Development - Brakes, Suspension, Wheels/Tires
• Responsible for developing CAD models, Drawings & GD&T in CATIA / 3DX, for Chassis components in Suspension, Brakes, Steering
• Functional expertise in design and development of Chassis aggregates and to take technical decisions with D&R Engineers and suppliers as required
• Ability to ground-up design of Chassis components through detailed design and delivery into production, by establishing manufacturing, assembly and service feasibility
• Good understanding of New Product Development process, program milestones and delivery success criteria for Engineering
