Job summary

Capital Athena is seeking a Chartered Accountant / CA-Inter with deep experience in real estate and construction to lead financial reporting, taxation, and compliance. You will drive project funding efforts, manage approvals, and ensure regulatory adherence across Indian statutes.

Qualifications

• CA qualification (CA Qualified) OR CA-Inter with real estate/construction sector experience.
• 8–15 years post-qualification experience.
• Minimum 4–5 years in real estate/construction industry.
• Hands-on experience with regulatory compliance and financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze Cash Flow Statements, MIS reports, and financial dashboards for management review.
• Manage project funding activities with lenders and institutions.
• Finalize Balance Sheet, P&L, and statutory financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with RERA regulations and reporting requirements.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other tax compliances including filings and reconciliations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulators.
• Monitor project-wise financial performance and cost control.
• Improve financial processes and reporting systems for compliance.

Role Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant & CA - Inter with strong experience in the real estate/construction sector. The role involves managing financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and supporting project funding activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in real estate accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze Cash Flow Statements, MIS reports, and financial dashboards for management review
• Experience in successful project funding with different and esteemed organizations and institutions
• Finalize Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss statements, and statutory financial reports
• Ensure compliance with RERA regulations and reporting requirements
• Handle end-to-end GST, TDS, and other tax compliances, including filings and reconciliations
• Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support project funding activities, including lender coordination, documentation, and financial closures
• Maintain strong internal financial controls and ensure audit readiness
• Liaise with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Monitor project-wise financial performance and ensure cost control
• Assist in improving financial processes, reporting systems, and compliance frameworks

Key Skills:
