Job summary

Formist Realty is looking for a seasoned Head of Finance to manage financial operations for property portfolios. You will oversee monthly and annual reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and tax compliance (GST, RERA in India), ensuring accuracy for internal teams and external auditors.

You will lead GL analysis, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and capital project accounting, collaborating with asset managers and investors. Based at the corporate office with occasional travel to sites.

Job Summary:

This requirement is to manages financial operations for property portfolios, handling monthly/annual reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and tax compliance (GST, RERA in India), ensuring accuracy for internal teams (asset/property managers) and external stakeholders (investors/auditors). Key duties involve GL analysis, bank reconciliations, lease abstracting, variance analysis, fixed asset management, and collaborating on capital project accounting, requiring strong excel and ERP knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the financial strategy and operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure timely maintenance of accurate and up-to-date accounts and full adherence to statutory compliances such as GST, TDS, TCS, and other applicable tax and financial regulations.
• Finalization of books of accounts, Audit clearance and ERP clearance
• Provide strategic insights and decision support for real estate investments and broader financial planning to enhance operational and capital efficiency.
• Prepare accurate, timely, and transparent financial reports, ensuring regulatory filings and submissions are completed without delay or error.
• Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team, promoting a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, consultants, financial institutions) to ensure financial practices are aligned with the companys strategic objectives.
• Based at the corporate office with occasional travel to project or site locations.
