Job summary

Roundglass Living in Mohali, India, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to manage vendor invoices, approvals, and payments. You will ensure accuracy, maintain ledgers, and support audits.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of experience, strong MS Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle or SAP. US GAAP knowledge is a plus; emphasis on confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Accounts Payable and basic accounting procedures with working knowledge of GAAP.
• 8–10 years of experience in a similar AP role.
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements and ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable.
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present for payment authorization.
• Analyze vendor information and approve for vendor registration in accounting tool.
• Prepare and record assets, liability, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing accounts payable bills and information.
• Maintain and balance AP department by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.
• Close accounting entries (accruals) and maintain AP ledgers; reconcile entries.
• Assist in external audits by analyzing and scheduling payables and accruals and providing auditor information.
• Secure financial information by completing database backups; protect confidentiality.
• Manage TDS deductions and GST compliance related to vendor payments and reimbursements.

What you’ll do

• Assist in completing external audit by analyzing and scheduling Accounts payables, Accruals and providing information for auditors.
• Secure financial information by completing database backups.
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• TDS deduction, and GST compliance related to Vendor payments & reimbursements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Accounts Payable and basic accounting procedures with working knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience looking for 8-10 years
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
• Working experience on labor Laws, TDS & GST.
• Expert knowledge of MS Excel.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office
• US GAAP experience will be an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Working knowledge of Accounting Software ERPs (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) etc.
