Job summary

Roundglass Foundation is seeking a Lead, Financial Planning & Analysis in Mohali to steer budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across the organization.

The role partners with senior leaders to guide resource allocation, enhance profitability, and drive strategic initiatives. You will lead complex financial modelling, performance reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration with the CEO and business heads.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in the finance department of a reputed organization.
• Excellent crunching of numbers and understanding impacts of transactions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, processes, fund flow management, statutory compliances, taxation, and MIS reporting.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct FP&A for corporate financials including revenue, expenses, working capital, capex, and cash flow.
• Lead company-wide strategic planning, budgeting, and quarterly targets with monthly forecasts.
• Coordinate budget reviews and consolidation across the organization.
• Develop financial models and metrics to drive profitability and efficiency.
• Provide analytical perspectives and executive summaries for strategic decisions.

About the role

The FP&A Lead will be responsiblefor directing and organizing the financial planning and analysis process acrossthe company, including the preparation, reporting, variance analysis of thedepartmental budgets, forecasts, and key financial metrics. You will provideinsights and sound business advice to the finance leadership and executivemanagement teams on best practices, business trends, and investmentopportunities.

This position will be the key point ofcontact for FP&A on their monthly forecast and annual budget process. Youwill lead and conduct special projects involving financial analysis andresearch of business issues to provide senior management with financial dataand business advice to support resource allocation decisions and objectives forcorporate growth and profitability.

This is a key position, which willreport to the Head of FP&A and work closely with the senior managementincluding the CEO, Business unit heads, and other key stakeholders.

What you’ll do

• Be a valued business partner andtrusted advisor to senior management to provide highly complex financial andtechnical analysis and recommendations regarding current and proposed businessopportunities, and/or internal measurements and methodologies
• Direct FP&A for allcomponents of corporate financials including revenue, operating expenses,working capital, capital expenditure and cash flow
• Leading company-wide strategicplanning, budget, and quarterly target-setting processes, including monthlyforecasts and key performance monitoring
• Coordinating budget reviews, andcorporate budget consolidation
• Key driver for development ofstrategic and operational plans, annual budgeting, process, financialforecasting, business support and reporting
• Develop and institutionalizefinancial models, analyses, key business metrics that serve as a tool to driveprofitable business growth, efficiency and improvement
• Identify, assess, value andprioritize current and emerging product portfolio and other businessinitiatives, through regressive financial analysis and business cases
• Providing analytical perspectivesand executive financial summaries for important strategic decisions, includingM&A activities and significant capital investments.
• Tracking sales pipeline closelyto bring about more accurate revenue forecast and operational expenditurerequirements
• Preparing periodically detailedreports with analytics. Ensure that financial reporting of the businessperformance is accurate and timely
• Interface with senior leadershipregarding financial results, forecasts, planning assumptions and other projects
• Act as a strategic businesspartner to budget owners across departments.

• BS degree in Accounting, Financeor relevant. Additional qualifications of CA Inter would be preferred
• Should have 10 -15 years ofexperience in the Finance Department of a reputed organization
• Must be excellent at crunchingnumbers & able to understand the impact of any transaction in numbers ofterms
• Excellent functional knowledge ofaccounting systems, processes, fund flow management, statutory compliances,taxation, and MIS reporting to senior management
• Must have good oral and writtencommunication skills
