Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in India is seeking a procurement/operations professional to analyze BOMs for localization, coordinate with IO/PP/SQI teams, and apply APQP/VPPAP in global supplier assessments. The role requires knowledge of casting, sheet metal, plastics, machined components, and hardware processes, with strong communication and travel readiness.

The incumbent will drive export costing scenarios, lead cross-functional discussions, and ensure technical sign-offs per process flow in

Qualifications

• Experience in BOM analysis and localization of part categories.
• Knowledge of casting, sheet metal, plastics, machined components, hardware processes.
• Familiar with APQP, VPPAP and NPD tools.
• Global supplier assessment experience.
• Ability to travel overseas as required.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze BOM to categorize parts for localization.
• Coordinate with IO, PP, SQI as a cross-functional team member.
• Lead NP Dtools and sign off per process flow.
• Oversee export costing scenarios and supplier assessments.
• Travel internationally as needed and communicate with global teams.

Job description

Knowlede of process & FTG

Shuld know measuring instruments and method of inspection for Casting, Sheetmetal components

- Well versed with supplier assessment at Global level

Good program Managemen

- Co-ordination with different teams like IO Team, PP Team, SQI etc as a CFT member

- Well versed with New Product Development tools - APQP, VPPAP

- Good Knowledge oc commercial - SBC and finalise technical sign off as per process flow

- Well versed with export costing scenarios

- Well versed with SAP, TeamCenter, MS Office

- Ready to travel overseas as per requirement
