Job summary

Vutto in India is seeking a Category/Program Manager to own and scale our central operations, driving operational excellence, faster turnaround times, and improved unit economics. You will establish structured category management practices to support growth and scalability.

You will collaborate closely with Product, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Technology to implement scalable processes, track performance, and deliver data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in program management, preferably in a startup ecosystem.
• Good people management skills; ability to hire and lead a high performing team.
• Demonstrated impact on operational excellence and actionable results.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs.
• Define program goals, KPIs, timelines, and success metrics.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Sales, Finance and Technology teams.
• Identify operational gaps and implement scalable processes and solutions.
• Track program performance and provide regular business updates to leadership.
• Drive data-driven decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations to ensure timely delivery.
• Build dashboards and reports to monitor key program metrics.
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives where applicable.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and execution teams.
• Mentor and guide program/project team members.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As category or program manager you will own and scale Vuttos central operations team, with a strong focus on driving operational excellence and execution efficiency across categories. The incumbent will be responsible for improving turnaround times (TAT), optimizing unit economics, and establishing structured category management practices to support business growth and operational scalability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs.
• Define program goals, KPIs, timelines, and success metrics.
• Work closely with Product, Operations, Sales, Finance, Technology, and other cross-functional teams.
• Identify operational gaps and implement scalable processes and solutions.
