Ecolab Global Services in Pune, Maharashtra, invites an aspiring Cash Application Specialist to join our Finance & Accounts Receivable team. This role offers hands-on exposure to cash application, payment allocation, customer account reviews, and process improvement while working with experienced colleagues.

You will learn O2C processes, follow SOPs, and use Excel and ERP systems to support reporting, data validation, and SLA compliance, while developing a solid foundation in finance operations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• Basic MS Office knowledge, especially Excel; openness to ERP/finance systems.

Role Overview

The Cash Application Specialist role provides hands‑on exposure to cash application activities, payment allocation, customer account review, and process improvement while working closely with experienced team members. Key Responsibilities

• 2 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Knowledge of customer payment and Order-to-Cash processes through hands‑on learning and mentoring.
• Support cash application activities such as payment allocation, account review, and follow‑up on open or unapplied payments under guidance from the team.
• Learn and follow company policies, SOPs, and DTPs while performing daily activities.
• Assist in reviewing On Account, Unprocessed, Partially Applied, Short Pay, Overpayment, Duplicate, and Inter-division transactions to support SLA compliance.
• Work with internal teams to gather information, clarify payment details, and support timely resolution of queries.
• Use Microsoft Excel and internal systems to update trackers, validate data, and support reporting activities.
• Identify simple process gaps or improvement ideas and share observations with the team.
• Show willingness to learn new responsibilities and grow within the Finance / Accounts Receivable function.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in finance/accounting.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, with openness to learn ERP/finance systems.
