Job summary

AVIAREPS India is seeking a Cargo Consultant to drive cargo sales, business development, and operations across India. The role focuses on expanding the freight forwarder and airline partner network and delivering revenue growth.

You will coordinate bookings, capacity planning, documentation, and client engagement, while building strong relationships with airlines, GSSAs, handlers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless operations and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in cargo sales, BD, and operations in air cargo/logistics.
• Strong network within Indian freight forwarding and cargo trade.
• Understanding of airline cargo operations and commercial processes.
• Self-driven, commercially focused, able to work independently.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cargo sales and BD strategies across India.
• Identify and onboard new freight forwarders, agents, and key trade partners.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and stakeholders.
• Support cargo operations including bookings coordination, capacity management, and documentation.
• Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and revenue growth recommendations.
• Assist in establishing operational procedures and improving service efficiency.
• Represent the company at industry meetings, trade events, and client engagements.
• Collaborate with airlines, GSSAs, handlers, and logistics partners for seamless coordination.

Scope of Work

• Develop and implement cargo sales and business development strategies across India.

• Work closely with airlines, GSSAs, handlers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless coordination.
