Job summary

Adecco India is seeking a Canteen In charge/Supervisor to oversee daily canteen operations in Karnataka. You will ensure hygienic food service, manage resources, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain service excellence.

With 1–4 years in canteen or food service, you will drive cost control, waste reduction, and continuous improvements while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food Production, Catering, or related discipline.
• 1 to 4 years in canteen, catering, hospitality, or food service.
• Experience with large-volume food service operations preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Purpose

To supervise, coordinate, and manage daily canteen operations while ensuring uninterrupted food services, adherence to hygiene and food safety standards, cost-effective resource utilization, and high levels of employee satisfaction. The role is responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, inventory control, regulatory compliance, and service excellence within the canteen.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food Production, Catering, or related discipline.

Experience

• 1 to 4 years of experience in canteen, catering, hospitality, food service, or industrial kitchen operations.
• Experience in handling large-volume food service operations preferred.
