Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Hyderabad is seeking a Campus Manager Engineer to support the Facilities Management team on-site. You will ensure timely FM reporting, oversee preventive maintenance, and drive energy conservation initiatives across M&E installations.

The role requires a strong background in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil engineering, 3-7 years of FM experience, and excellent communication with diverse client staff. On-site location with 48 weekly hours at Hyderabad, TS.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering with professional credenitals.
• 3-7 years' experience in facilities management or similar operations.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Engineering support to the FM team at assigned facilities.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of FM reports.
• Lead preventive maintenance and energy conservation practices.
• Assist Chief Engineer in managing M&E scope and project delivery.
• Support contract and procurement management for technical services.
• Contribute to achieving financial targets set by the Senior Facilities Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and Service Level Agreements targets.
• Support in managing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil maintenance.
• Maintain logbooks, checklists and PM schedules; oversee downtime.

Campus Manager Engineer

What this job involves:

• To provide Engineering support to the Facilities Management team at assigned Facilities.
• To ensure timely and accurate completion FM reports pertaining to assigned Facilities
• To achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs at (Client) with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices
• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing M&E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables with in the stipulated time
• Assist in providing comprehensive facility, contract and procurement management for technical services to the client
• Contribute to achieving financial and other targets established by the Senior Facilities Manager
• Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements targets

Operations :

• Support the Chief Engineer in managing the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing installations & all Civil maintenance within the facility;
• Responsible for preparation of critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer's recommendations and plan for the inventory where the maintenance is carried out with in-house teams;
• Implement and oversee the pre-emptive maintenance program to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment;
• Assist the Chief Engineer to review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations;
• Maintain the logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for all M & E installations;
• Manage Downtime/ Breakdowns;
• Arrange for ad-hoc M&E set ups as per the client requirement from time to time;
• Ensure the contractors follow the house rules at all times and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the Client;
• Assume AFM responsibilities if need arises;
• Responsible to handle the shifts independently on all Engineering related matters

Reporting

• Responsible for daily reporting on M & E to the Chief Engineer
• Generate Service maintenance reports on office equipment's
• Generate Inventory and Purchasing of spares and consumables
• Generate Downtime and breakdown incident reports.

Key Performances Measurements

• Achievement of Contracted Service Levels and Performance Indicators.
• Achievement of contracted Customer Satisfaction expectations.
• Management of resource to ensure no disruption to client business.
• Achievement of savings initiatives if any.
• Delivery of Agreed Initiatives as per Client / Jones Lang LaSalle Initiatives Road Map
• Achievement of performance goals as agreed with manager

Education and experience

• Graduate in any discipline

• Tertiary qualifications in either Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering essential
• Very Good people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands;
• Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement initiatives highly desirable;
• Demonstrated experience with client reporting and preparation of reports required.
