Staford Play & Cafe in Lucknow invites a proactive Cafe & Events Manager to oversee daily cafe operations while planning and delivering events, birthday parties, workshops, and customer activities.

The role requires hospitality, event management, and strong customer-service skills, with team coordination and vendor management to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and special-event work is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in cafe management, hospitality, event management, restaurants, hotels, entertainment venues, or related businesses.
• Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
• Good team management and coordination abilities.
• Experience in handling vendors and event-related requirements.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities during busy periods.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and during special events as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cafe operations, including opening, closing, cleanliness, service standards, and customer experience.
• Plan and execute birthday parties, private events, workshops, celebrations, and promotional activities.
• Handle event enquiries, bookings, scheduling, packages, and customer coordination.
• Coordinate with vendors, decorators, caterers, entertainers, and other service providers.
• Supervise cafe and event staff and ensure smooth shift operations.
• Monitor food and beverage service, inventory, wastage, and stock requirements.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, service quality, and presentation.
• Manage event setup, execution, and post-event closure.
• Handle customer queries, feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
• Track daily sales, event revenue, expenses, and operational performance.
• Support local marketing and promotional activities to increase footfall and event bookings.
• Ensure the venue is ready and fully operational for every customer and event.
