Job summary

ALTEN India in Chennai requires a CAD/Hypermesh engineer to support meshing and CAD quality tasks across Sheet Metal, Plastic trims, and Casting components, ensuring safety compliance and dimensional accuracy.

Candidate should be a quick learner, able to review assemblies, perform cleanup, and clear penetrations/intersections, with hands-on Hypermesh experience and the ability to deliver work independently.

Qualifications

• Experience with Hypermesh for meshing and CAD quality checks.
• Ability to review CAD assemblies and ensure safety guidelines.
• Experience meshing Sheet Metal, Plastic trims and Casting components.

Responsibilities

• Mesh Sheet Metal, Plastic trims and Casting assemblies per safety standards.
• Check CAD quality, issue and perform cleanup.
• Review and deliver assemblies independently and clear penetrations/intersections.

• Should have good knowledge in Hypermesh.
• Can be able to check CAD quality, issue & perform CAD cleanup., variable thickness measurement and assignment.
• Good Knowledge in meshing Sheet Metal, Plastic trims, and Casting assemblies for safety guidelines using Hypermesh.
• He/She should be a quick learner and adapt to the process quickly.
• Should have capable to review and deliver the assembly independently.
• Should know to clear the penetration/intersection for an assembly.
• Experience in meshing Sheet Metal, Plastic trims, and Casting components as per safety standards.
