Job summary

Alten in India is seeking a skilled CAE engineer to mesh and develop components for automotive body NVH and safety attributes using HyperMesh. You will work on 2D and 3D meshing for sheet metal, plastics and solids, and contribute to critical issue resolution through action plans.

You will read and prepare modeling documentation, checksheets, and present queries, while collaborating across teams to integrate sub-assemblies and deliver robust solutions with a positive, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 2D and 3D meshing with industry-standard tools (HyperMesh).
• Experience with sheet metal, plastics and solids meshing.
• Knowledge of 1D and 2D connections and ability to contribute to action plans for critical issues.
• Ability to read and complete modeling documentation and checksheets; prepare and present queries.
• Ability to conceptualize components and integrate sub-assemblies; strong collaboration skills.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

• Meshing automobile components for body NVH and Safety attributes using engineering preprocessor software tools such as HyperMesh.
• Expertise in 2D and 3D meshing (hexahedra, tetras) for sheet metal, plastics, and solids in HyperMesh.
• Basic knowledge of 1D and 2D connections; ability to participate in developing action plans and solutions for critical issues.
• Understand and complete modeling documentation such as checksheets and query presentations.
• Conceptualize and work on individual components and integrate sub-assemblies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude.
