Job summary

Fashionc Overseas Exports is seeking an experienced Pattern Master with expert Reachpeace software skills. You will develop accurate patterns, perform grading, create markers, and ensure production-ready patterns per buyer specs and approved samples.

You will collaborate with Sampling, Merchandising, Design, Production, and Quality teams to optimize fabric utilization, fit, and construction while maintaining records of pattern revisions and approvals.

Qualifications

• Excellent hands-on knowledge of Reachpeace software.
• Strong knowledge of digital pattern making and grading.
• Good understanding of garment construction and sewing operations.
• Ability to read and understand buyer tech packs and measurement charts.
• Experience in export garment manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop garment patterns based on buyer tech packs, measurement charts, sketches, specifications, and approved samples.
• Prepare accurate patterns for different garment styles, constructions, and fabric types.
• Must have excellent working knowledge of Reachpeace software for pattern making and related activities.
• Create, modify, and correct patterns digitally using Reachpeace.
• Perform pattern grading for different sizes as per the required size chart.
• Prepare and optimize markers to achieve maximum fabric utilization and minimize fabric wastage.
• Analyze garment fit and make necessary pattern corrections based on fitting comments and sample evaluation.
• Work closely with the Sampling, Merchandising, Design, Production, and Quality teams.
• Convert physical/reference samples into accurate digital patterns.
• Ensure pattern measurements match the buyer's specifications and approved measurement charts.
• Develop patterns for proto, fit, size set, salesman, pre-production, and bulk production samples.
• Make pattern alterations based on buyer comments and fitting feedback.
• Ensure correct seam allowances, notches, grain lines, drill holes, balance marks, and construction details.
• Check patterns thoroughly before releasing them for sampling or production.
• Maintain proper records of pattern revisions, versions, and approvals.
• Ensure approved patterns are properly archived and easily retrievable.
• Coordinate with cutting and production teams to resolve pattern-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve fabric consumption, fit, construction, and production efficiency.
• Ensure patterns are practical for bulk production and can be reproduced consistently.
• Support R&D and product development for new styles and constructions.
• Follow company SOPs, quality standards, and buyer requirements.
