Job summary

Skillventory is seeking a Chartered Accountant fresher to join the finance team and support core accounting and reporting processes. The role involves hands-on exposure to Ind AS and regulatory requirements for NBFCs.

The candidate will assist in monthly closures, statutory audits, and MIS, gaining practical experience in financial reporting and consolidation under Indian accounting standards.

Qualifications

• CA to be qualified by Nov 2025 / May 2026 attempt; freshers.
• Article ship experience in statutory audit, financial services, or with a mid-size will be an advantage.
• Exposure to Ind AS and regulatory reporting will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements under Ind AS for monthly closures, quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Support technical accounting on Ind AS 109 (financial instruments, EIR, ECL, hedge accounting), Ind AS 16 (property, plant and equipment), Ind AS 116 (leases), Ind AS 102 (share-based payments), and Ind AS 19 (employee benefits).
• Assist in timely closure of Statutory, Internal and Tax Audits.
• Assist in monitoring expenses/incomes (Actuals vs Budgeted) monthly.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (qualified in Nov 2025 / May 2026 attempt); freshers.

Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting

• Assist in preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements under Ind AS (Schedule III Division III) for monthly closures, quarterly limited reviews and annual audits.
  
• Support technical accounting execution and analysis on areas such as Ind AS 109 (financial instruments, EIR, ECL, hedge accounting), Ind AS 16 (property, plant and equipment), Ind AS 116 (leases), Ind AS 102 (share-based payments), and Ind AS 19 (employee benefits).
  
• Assist in timely closure of Statutory, Internal and Tax Audits.
  
• Assist in monitoring expenses/incomes (Actuals v/s Budgeted) monthly.
  

Regulatory & Statutory Compliance

• Support RBI regulatory reporting and compliance under the Scale Based Regulation (SBR) framework, including prudential norms (CRAR, LCR), securitization and direct assignment guidelines.
  
• Assist in MCA filings (AOC-4 NBFC Ind AS and related forms) and other statutory compliances applicable to a listed NBFC.
  
• Assist in maintaining and testing internal financial controls (ICFR) documentation
  

Management Reporting (MIS) & Analysis

• Prepare monthly financial MIS and allocated GL-level expense and provision variance analysis with commentary for senior management.
  
• Work with large datasets (GL dumps, loan repayment schedules, portfolio files) using Microsoft Excel and analytical tools.
  
• Identify and drive opportunities to automate recurring reporting, reconciliation and data-processing workflows, improving accuracy and turnaround time.
