• CA Fresher with articleship experience in a mid-size audit firm handling audit and accounting of BFSI clients.
• Good knowledge of Ind AS is a must.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to manage key stakeholder relationships across the organization.
• Ability to take ownership and deliver within scheduled timelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely preparation and closure of financial statements monthly as per GAAP and Regulatory norms.
• Analyze key movements, compliances, and explain in review meetings.
• Steer and support audit/review process every quarter and get the financial statements certified.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of regulatory returns and other formats as required.
• Review and confirm control activities documented under the Risk Control Matrices are performed and documented.
• Support ICoFR process around financial accounting and reporting to meet internal control requirements.
• Develop reports to aid in mining of financial information and analytics for reporting.
• Enhance process efficiencies and analytics design for reporting.
• Assist in other critical reporting reviews.
• Maintain updated documentation of all key processes in financial closure and regulatory reporting.

Job description

Role Summary:

This job will augment the Finance by taking up the current BAU tasks to manage Reporting for Shareholders, Regulatory and Statutory including closure of financial statements & engagement with the auditors.

Key focus areas:

• Ensure timely preparation and closure of financial statements monthly as per GAAP and Regulatory norms
• Analyzes of key movements, compliances, duly explain in the review meetings
• Steer and support audit/review process every quarter and get the financial statements certified
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of regulatory returns and other formats as required
• Review and confirmation that the Control activities (review of recons, follow up on exceptions etc) that are documented under the Risk Control Matrices are done and documented
• Support ICoFR process around all the financial accounting and reporting to ensure that all requirements of company level internal control framework are addressed.
• Develop appropriate system/reports to aid in the management and mining of financial information
• Enhance process efficiencies and analytics design pertaining to reporting.
• Assist in exercising other critical reporting reviews
• Maintain updated documentation of all key processes in financial closure and recurring reportings to the regulator & shareholder
