Capgemini in Mumbai seeks a Chartered Accountant with in-depth knowledge of IndAS and IFRS to lead financial closing, reporting and governance. The role focuses on ensuring accurate month-end close, preparing P&L and balance sheet analyses, and maintaining internal controls across accounting activities.

You will oversee P&L reviews, MoM trial balance movements, and the rollout of Power BI dashboards for leadership to monitor monthly performance.

Formación

• CA is required.
• Knowledge of IndAS and IFRS and regulatory requirements for financial reporting.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with databases and ability to summarize large data volumes.

Responsabilidades

Role & responsibilities

• Overseeing the month end closing process and ensure completeness and accuracy for all areas of the trial balance,
• Supervise the accounting activities to ensure timeliness and accurate accounting of all financial numbers.
• Ensure application of proper financial procedures and compliance to internal control procedures for all accounting activities
• Conduct detailed review of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly P&L and Balance Sheet. Prepare balance sheet schedule, P&L movements and understand the MoM movement in trial balance
• Oversee publication of Power BI dashboard to leadership highlighting the monthly financial performance for the areas allotted.

Preferred candidate profile

• Must be a qualified CA
• Must be proficient in Accounting standards both IndAS and IFRS and other regulatory requirements for financial reporting
• Must have organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with databases and the ability to summarize large volume of data
