Job summary

Shashwath Solution is seeking a C++ Video/Audio Streaming Lead with deep GStreamer and multimedia expertise. You will architect and lead low-latency streaming systems for live broadcasting, conferencing, or surveillance, guiding a team of engineers and coordinating with product, QA, and DevOps.

You will drive media pipeline optimization, codec integration, and protocol support (RTP/RTSP/RTMP/WebRTC) while staying current with industry developments.

Qualifications

• Experience in GStreamer, FFmpeg, and MediaSDK.
• Strong C++ (Modern C++14/17) with OOP and design patterns.
• Experience architecting low-latency streaming pipelines and real-time protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of media streaming apps using C++ and GStreamer.
• Architect and optimize real-time, low-latency video/audio pipelines.
• Integrate codecs, containers, and transport protocols (RTP, RTSP, RTMP, WebRTC).
• Drive performance profiling, debugging, and tuning of multimedia applications.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps; conduct code reviews and mentorship.
• Stay updated with multimedia frameworks and streaming protocols; participate in architecture review.

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced and driven C++ Video/Audio Streaming Lead with deep expertise in GStreamer, multimedia pipelines, and real-time streaming protocols.
• As the technical lead, you will architect, design, and lead the development of low-latency video and audio streaming systems for live broadcasting, video conferencing, or surveillance applications.
• You will also mentor a team of engineers and collaborate closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of media streaming applications using C++ and GStreamer
• Architect and optimize media pipelines for real-time, low-latency video/audio transmission
• Integrate various audio/video codecs, containers, and transport protocols (RTP, RTSP, RTMP, WebRTC)
