Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Mumbai seeks a qualified professional with a B.Tech in Paint Technology or Chemicals Engineering to drive industry knowledge and supplier management across paints, NVH, adhesives sectors.

You will study market trends, manage costs, and support strategic options while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The role involves detailed capacity analysis, on-site supplier assessments, lead discussions and negotiations, and aligning with M&M business needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of paints, chemicals, and NVH formulations with technical details.
• Capable of cost management, negotiations, and sourcing strategies.
• Experience in capacity planning, supplier assessments, and on-site coordination.
• Awareness of statutory requirements; legal knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Perform industry and product studies, analyze trends, and support strategy options.
• Lead capacity and supplier management with on-site assessments and negotiations.
• Drive spend analysis, design cost drivers, and align with M&M business needs.
• Ensure adherence to statutory audits and regulatory requirements.

• Knowledge of various commodities to understand trends in the market like, Paints, NVH, Adhesives, Sealant etc.
• Basic knowledge of Paints, technical background of Panits will also do. - Paint, NVH & Sealant supplier industry, mfg. processes
• Industry study, Product study, Technologies and Trends, Spend analysis, Design and cost drivers, M&M Business needs, Strategy Options, Strategy recommendations and approval
• Cost Management –
  • Knowledge of Paint, chemicals & NVH formulations and technical details about the same
  • Negotiation, alternate sourcing, localization, VAVE
• Capacity Management - Detailed capacity analysis, Gap analysis and action planning and effective execution
• Supplier Management -Onsite supplier assessments, identification of Gaps, action planning and monitoring, Lead Discussion and Negotiations
• Adherence to Statutory requirement for Audit
• Legal knowledge is added advantage
