Job summary

Skillventory in Mumbai is seeking a seasoned Business Operations leader to drive UPI operations, optimize performance, and build capability within the team.

You will coordinate with banks, PSPs, TPAPs, international partners, and internal teams to ensure timely clearing, settlement, risk controls, and SLA compliance.

The role emphasizes process automation, data-driven oversight, and partnering with senior management to deliver scalable and secure payments experiences.

Qualifications

• Data analysis exposure is desired.
• Basic SQL exposure is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Business Operations team for UPI, ensuring performance and capability development.
• Oversee end-to-end clearing, settlement, monitoring, disputes, reversals, and SLAs.
• Coordinate with banks, PSPs, TPAPs, international partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Drive issue resolution, declines, escalations, UAT, production rollouts, and post-release stabilization.
• Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, audits, SOPs, and governance.
• Prepare MIS, dashboards, BRDs/FRDs, UAT and compliance documentation; basic SQL/data analysis exposure.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, scalability, risk reduction, and better customer/merchant experience.
• Represent Operations in stakeholder discussions and advise senior management.

• Drive issue resolution, decline reduction, escalations, UAT, production rollouts, and post-release stabilization.
• Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, audit requirements, SOPs, and operational governance.
• Prepare and review MIS, dashboards, BRDs/FRDs, UAT and compliance documentation, with basic SQL/data analysis exposure.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, scalability, risk reduction, and improved customer/merchant experience.
• Represent Business Operations in stakeholder discussions and provide operational insights and recommendations to senior management.
