Job summary

Equitas Small Finance Bank is seeking a Business Development Officer - Used Car in Tamil Nadu to source and convert applications for used car financing. You will build and maintain relationships with customers, dealers, and DSAs to generate a steady pipeline while ensuring documentation is complete and compliant.

The role requires 1-4 years of relevant experience in lending or sales, with a focus on customer service and timely processing.

Qualifications

• UG qualification required.
• Experience in working with Used Car financing is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop consistent pipeline of used car finance applications from direct sourcing and dealers.
• Manage relationships with customers by addressing requirements promptly.
• Ensure timely collection of loan proposal documentation for First Time Right.
• Pass leads for cross-sell products like savings/current accounts and FASTag where applicable.
• Maintain 100% compliance with RBI policies and statutory regulations.
• Follow up with channels to keep relationships and avoid PDD beyond 60 days.

Job Description

• Develop consistent pipeline of applications from good quality customers who require finance for purchase of Used cars through direct sourcing, Dealers, DSAs, market references etc.,
• Effectively manage relationships with all customers by responding to their requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all documentation and information related to loan proposals are obtained in a timely manner to practice ‘First Time Right’ principle.
• Actively generate & pass on leads for cross-sell products like Saving Accounts, Current Accounts, Term Deposits, FASTag (wherever applicable)
• Ensure 100% compliance to Policies & Processes and all regulatory matters of RBI and other statutory bodies
• Closely follow up Channels and keep the relationship intact and ensure no PDD is pending beyond 60 days from his channels.

Understand the products & policies of ESFB Used car Funding and offer the right scheme to the client and ensure customer’s requirement is met.
