We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to generate third-party manufacturing orders and export business for injectable pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate should have strong connections with injectable wholesalers, pharma marketing companies, and international pharmaceutical importers. The role focuses on expanding domestic third-party injectable manufacturing orders as well as export opportunities in international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Domestic Business Development
- Generate third-party manufacturing orders for injectable products from pharmaceutical marketing companies and wholesalers across India.
- Develop and maintain relationships with reputed injectable wholesalers, distributors, and pharmaceutical marketing companies.
- Identify new companies requiring contract manufacturing for injectables.
- Negotiate pricing, finalize orders, and ensure smooth execution.
Export Business Development
- Identify and develop export opportunities for injectable products in international markets.
- Establish relationships with pharmaceutical importers, distributors, and marketing companies overseas.
- Generate export orders for third-party manufacturing and private label injectable products.
- Coordinate with regulatory and documentation teams for export compliance and product registration.
General Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure repeat orders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities in injectable products.
- Coordinate with internal teams for production planning, pricing, and dispatch schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, or Business Administration.
- 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development, preferably in injectables.
- Proven experience in third-party manufacturing sales and/or pharmaceutical exports.
- Strong network with injectable wholesalers, pharma companies, and international buyers.
- Good knowledge of export documentation and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Existing network of international pharma distributors or importers.
- Experience in B2B pharmaceutical sales.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and international exhibitions if required.
