Business Development Lead: Weddings & Corporate
La Maison Eterna | Delhi (On-site) | Full-time | Reports to the CEO | Joining: Immediate
About La Maison Eterna
La Maison Eterna is a luxury house of handcrafted objects for the table, the bar, and the home. Our collections include silver-plated serveware, hand-blown crystal, and jade accessories, all made by artisans who have spent decades mastering their craft. We call ourselves curators of permanence. We make pieces to be kept, not replaced, and every object is designed to become part of a family's story.
Two of our most important relationships are with people who give: couples and families marking a wedding, and businesses honouring clients, partners, and teams. Our Concierge already serves corporate gifting programmes and wedding orders. We are now building a dedicated growth function around them.
The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Lead to build and run La Maison Eterna's wedding and corporate businesses. You will find and win high-value relationships, design bespoke gifting programmes, and turn one-off orders into long-term partnerships. This is a leadership role with direct access to the CEO. You will own the revenue targets for both segments and shape how the Maison sells for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
Wedding Market
- Build and grow relationships with luxury wedding planners, decorators, designers, and venues, including hotels, palaces, and resorts.
- Develop wedding offerings such as trousseau and shagun gifting, hosting sets, return gifts for families and guests, and curated bridal and groom‑side collections.
- Work directly with families and planners on personalised, high‑value orders, from first enquiry to delivery.
- Build a strong pipeline through referral networks, private events, and wedding‑season planning, and prepare the business for peak wedding seasons.
Corporate Market
- Identify and win corporate clients such as leadership teams, HR and procurement heads, client‑relationship and marketing teams, and corporate gifting agencies.
- Design bespoke gifting programmes for festive seasons (especially Diwali), milestones, client appreciation, and leadership gifting.
- Handle large and repeat orders, including customisation, engraving, and co‑branding, in line with the Maison's standards.
- Convert one‑time buyers into annual gifting partners through account planning and a strong follow‑up rhythm.
Sales Leadership & Process
- Own revenue targets, pipeline, and forecasts for both segments, and report to the CEO on performance.
- Create proposals, presentations, pricing frameworks, and gifting catalogues that reflect a luxury house.
- Negotiate terms, timelines, and customisation requirements with discretion and commercial discipline.
- Set up a CRM and reporting process for leads, conversion, average order value, and repeat business.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Concierge team, production and artisans, logistics, and finance to make sure every large order is delivered exactly as promised.
- Work with the Head of Social and the marketing team on case studies, event content, and campaigns that support wedding and corporate growth.
- Feed client insights back into product and collection planning.
Brand Representation
- Represent the Maison at wedding showcases, corporate meetings, trade events, and private presentations.
- Ensure every client interaction reflects the standards of a luxury house: warm, attentive, and unhurried.
Who You Are
Required
- 3-5 years of business development, key account, or sales experience, with at least 1 year in a luxury or premium brand (home, tableware, jewellery, hospitality, fashion, or a comparable category).
- A proven track record of closing high‑value orders, either in the wedding market, corporate gifting, or both.
- An established network in Delhi NCR among wedding planners, decorators, venues, corporate HR and procurement teams, or gifting agencies.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills, with the polish to sit across from families, founders, and senior executives.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Comfort with CRM tools, proposals, pricing, and commercial reporting.
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and follow‑through.
- The ability to work on-site in Delhi and join immediately.
Preferred
- Experience selling handcrafted, artisanal, or heritage products.
- An understanding of Indian wedding traditions, gifting customs, and festive‑season buying cycles.
- Experience with customised or co‑branded gifting.
- Familiarity with Shopify and e‑commerce order management.
- A degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
What Sets You Apart
- You build relationships, not just pipelines, and clients trust you with their most important occasions.
- You understand that in luxury, the sale begins with listening.
- You are as comfortable in a planner's studio as in a boardroom.
- You take full ownership from first conversation to the moment the gift is opened.
What We Offer
- A leadership role building two high-potential segments of an emerging luxury house.
- Direct collaboration with the CEO, artisans, and designers.
- The chance to work with objects that clients keep for generations.
- Compensation: ₹5-7 LPA + performance bonus linked to revenue targets.
La Maison Eterna is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
