About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst / Consultant with experience in the commerce and finance domain to join our product development team. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders, clients, and the development team to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, ensuring successful implementation of banking, lending, and payment service provider (PSP) solutions within our platform.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Consultant in banking, lending, or payments domain.
• Strong understanding of financial services processes such as:
• Retail/SME lending lifecycle (loan origination, disbursement, repayment, delinquency management).
• Digital payments, PSP integrations, wallets, and reconciliation.
• Core banking systems, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Hands‑on experience writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, wireframes, and process flows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into technology requirements clearly for developers.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to fintech platforms, ERP, or multi‑tenant SaaS systems.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks.
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and integration patterns in financial applications.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, BPMN tools, or UML modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis
• Collaborate with clients, business users, and internal stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements.
• Analyze existing processes in banking, lending, and payments to identify gaps, pain points, and areas of improvement.
• Solution Design & Documentation
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, use cases, workflows, and user stories for the development team.
• Prepare BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and process models.
• Work with architects and developers to ensure solution design aligns with domain best practices and compliance standards.
• Domain Expertise
• Provide domain knowledge and insights in digital banking, loan origination/management, payment gateways, PSP integrations, and financial compliance.
• Stay updated with evolving regulations, fintech trends, and new PSP technologies.
• Collaboration & Support
• Act as the liaison between business teams and technical teams.
• Support QA teams in preparing test cases and validating solutions against requirements.
• Assist in UAT and ensure smooth rollout of features.
• Consulting & Advisory
• Advise clients and internal teams on best practices for banking workflows, lending lifecycle, and payment processing.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation within finance operations.
