Business Analyst – Air Cargo

Department: Cargo / Business Analysis / Operations

Job Purpose

• Support the air cargo division through data-driven analysis and performance insights.
• Optimize cargo capacity, yield, and operational efficiency.
• Provide analytical support for commercial, operational, and strategic cargo decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze cargo performance data (tonnage, yield, load factor, revenue, and capacity).
• Develop dashboards and reports to track cargo KPIs and route performance.
• Monitor cargo load planning, space utilization, and belly/freighter performance.
• Support revenue management through analysis of rates, demand, and pricing trends.
• Conduct profitability studies on routes, products, and customer segments.
• Provide forecasting for cargo volumes and revenue by region or product type.
• Work with Cargo Operations to improve handling efficiency and turnaround times.
• Identify process bottlenecks and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Support strategic cargo projects (network expansion, partnerships, e-freight initiatives).
• Prepare management presentations and analytical insights for decision-making.
