Job summary

Itech India Chennai is seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to strengthen our Chennai-based delivery team. The candidate will bring 5–6 years of ITBA experience with Healthcare and HR domain knowledge, plus exposure to mobile apps and AI-based products.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting BRDs/FRDs, managing backlogs in Jira/Zoho/Confluence, and ensuring HIPAA compliance where applicable while guiding SDLC delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a BA in IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of Healthcare and HR domains.
• Hands-on with Jira, Confluence, Zoho Sprints, Figma.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.
• Experience with US-based clients and India delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, wireframes, and flows.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams using Figma to validate designs.
• Manage product backlogs using Jira, Zoho Sprints, and Confluence.
• Bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, sprint planning, demos, and UAT.
• Ensure alignment with business goals and standards (HIPAA where applicable).
• Support delivery across the SDLC with clear communication and risk mitigation.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our growing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in business analysis along with strong domain knowledge in Healthcare and HR. Exposure to mobile applications and AI-based products will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, wireframes, process flows, and other functional documentation.
• Work closely with UI/UX teams using tools like Figma to validate design expectations.
• Own and manage product backlogs using Jira, Zoho Sprints, and Confluence.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, sprint planning, demos, and UAT sessions.
• Ensure product alignment with business goals and compliance standards where applicable (e.g., HIPAA).
• Support project delivery across the SDLC, ensuring clear communication and risk mitigation.

Must-Have Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of Healthcare and HR domains.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Zoho Sprints, and Figma.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interactions.
• Strong facilitation and analytical skills with an eye for detail.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in projects involving mobile app development and AI/ML products.
