Job summary

Bridge Global Careers & Events in India is seeking a proactive Business Analyst with 3+ years’ experience to bridge business and technology on client engagements. You will work with clients, stakeholders, analysts, project leadership, and delivery teams to understand needs, document requirements, shape user stories, and support successful solution delivery.

You will gather requirements, prepare BRDs/SRS, participate in backlog refinement, and ensure traceability and acceptance criteria.

We are looking for a proactive Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience to bridge the gap between business and technology on client engagements.. The Business Analyst will work closely with clients, stakeholders, Analysts, Senior Analysts, project leadership, and delivery teams to understand business needs, gather and document requirements, shape user stories, and support successful solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
• Gather and analyse business requirements through client meetings, stakeholder discussions, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Engage with clients to understand business needs, processes, challenges, and expectations and translate them into clear and structured requirements.
• Document current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) processes, business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and process flows.
• Prepare and maintain BRDs, SRS/FRDs, user stories, process documentation, and other requirement artefacts.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, iteration planning, story writing, and other Agile delivery activities.
• Clarify requirements and resolve questions for development, QA, design, and other delivery teams.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Developers, Designers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are correctly understood and implemented.
• Collaborate with the Design/UX team by reviewing designs and providing business and user-experience feedback to ensure the solution meets business and user expectations.
• Facilitate client and internal meetings, document Minutes of Meetings, decisions, and action items, and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Maintain requirement traceability and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify requirement gaps, inconsistencies, dependencies, risks, and potential issues early and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate project activities and support tracking of requirements, deliverables, milestones, and dependencies.
• Manage and document change requests and communicate their impact to stakeholders.
• Support UAT and validate delivered functionality from a business and end-user perspective.
• Contribute to proposal preparation, requirement analysis, presales activities, when required.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by analysing workflows and recommending improvements.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and project teams to support business growth and successful project delivery.
• Stay updated with industry trends, business analysis practices, Agile methodologies, tools, and emerging technologies.
