Job summary

ATA is modernising its monolithic .NET/SQL application hosted on AWS, and this Business Analyst will bridge business needs with technology solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders, evaluate system capabilities, and ensure clear communication between end-users and developers.

Responsibilities include requirements gathering, system evaluation, documentation, and process optimization, plus vendor coordination, IAT and UAT facilitation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience in agile methodologies and scrum master roles.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication and team collaboration.

Job description

As a Business Analyst, s/he will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. s/he will collaborate with stakeholders, evaluate system capabilities, and ensure smooth communication between end-users and developers. The current business application is a monolithic application built on .NET and SQL server hosted on AWS environment. It is in-flexible and non-scalable. We are in a process of modernising this application using cutting edge technologies outside the ecosystem. The current business application supports all layers, right from customer onboarding to invoicing, but it is not integrated to our operation support applications like HR, Finance etc.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements.
• System Evaluation: Evaluate system functionalities and provide insights for improvements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date requirements specifications.
• Business Implications: Analyse business implications of proposed changes.
• Vendor Coordination: Act as a liaison between our company and third-party vendors.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Conduct IAT: Be the face of IT for the business and conduct first round of IAT before UAT
• Facilitate UAT: Act as a facilitator for UAT between business and technology teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field.

Required Skills

• Domain Knowledge in logistics, SCM areas
• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
