Job summary

AMC Repo Clearing Limited seeks a senior business analyst/product manager to lead ideation-to-approval for Indian financial markets. Drive requirements, prototype AI-enabled solutions, and coordinate with stakeholders across business and technology teams.

The role requires strong regulatory awareness (RBI/SEBI), data analytics (SQL, Tableau/Power BI), and a track record of turning concepts into funded, production-ready solutions. Document specifications and manage stage gates end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of business analysis and product management in financial markets.
• Experience inside banks, exchanges, clearing corporations, depositories or NBFCs.
• AI and distributed ledger exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Management: identify, research, prototype capabilities for Indian financial markets.
• End-to-End Lifecycle Execution: from problem statements to POCs, MVPs, and approved business cases.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration with business units and with Architects/engineers.
• Proven track record of turning ideas into funded solutions deployed to production.
• Regulatory acumen for RBI/SEBI, PFMI standards, and compliance reporting.
• Structured writing: concept notes, technical specs, and executive papers.
• Stakeholder management to align senior leadership.
• Technical depth on APIs, data models, and architectural discussions including AI.
• Data analytics: hands-on with SQL and Tableau/Power BI.
• AI prototyping and evaluation with spec-driven development.
• Process modelling: BPMN, user stories, use cases, data flows.

Role & responsibilities

• 1) Requirements Management: Drive and lead with identifying, researching, and prototyping next-generation capabilities for Indian financial markets.
• 2) End-to-End Lifecycle Execution: Take ideas from initial problem statements through validated Proofs of Concept (POCs), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and successfully approved business cases.
• 3) Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with business departments for ideation and collaborate seamlessly with Technical Architects and engineers for execution.
• 4) Proven Track Record: Successfully guided ideas from inception to funded approval, with demonstrable experience writing business cases that secured funding and delivered solutions into production.
• 5) Regulatory Acumen: Deep understanding of the Indian regulatory landscape, including RBI and SEBI circulars, PFMI standards, and compliance reporting obligations.
• 6) Exemplary Structured Writing: Exceptional written communication skills focused on core outputs, including concept notes, technical specifications, and executive management papers.
• 7) Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to engage, align, and influence senior business and technology leadership.
• 8) Technical Depth: Capable of writing and defending specifications, interpreting architecture diagrams, understanding APIs and data models, and holding substantive conversations regarding AI capabilities and limitations.
• 9) Data Analytics Expertise: Strong data analysis skills featuring hands-on proficiency in SQL and analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• 10) AI Prototyping & Evaluation: Ability to build prototypes and POCs leveraging AI using spec-driven development, combined with enough familiarity to accurately judge technical feasibility and spot inflated vendor claims.
• 11) Process Modelling: Mastery of core requirements and modelling techniques, including BPMN, user stories, use case modelling, and data flow analysis.
• 12) Innovation Frameworks: Practical experience with design thinking, service design, and modern innovation methodologies (such as jobs-to-be-done, lean startup, and discovery sprints).
• 13) Deep-Dive Research: Conduct comprehensive market and peer scans analyzing global financial infrastructure (CCPs, exchanges, CSDs, trade repositories), emerging technologies, vendor/fintech landscapes, and relevant regulatory literature.
• 14) Stage Gate Management: Oversee the end-to-end innovation pipeline: Idea >>>Qualified Use Case>>> Prototype >>>Demonstration >>>Validated Concept >>>Approval Handover.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1) Must have deep knowledge and expertise in business analysis, product management, consulting or business architecture within financial markets.
• 2) Prior experience working inside a bank, exchange, clearing corporate, depository or a large NBFC.
• 3) Exposure on working on AI and Distributed ledger platforms will be added advantage.
