Job summary

Aerem in Mumbai is seeking a Business Analyst Inventory & Pricing to partner with procurement, sales and finance to enhance inventory planning and pricing decisions.

The role involves analyzing sales and inventory data, identifying trends, supporting demand planning, and providing actionable insights to improve stock availability, pricing and margins. Proficiency in MS Excel is essential; Power BI/SQL experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in Business Analysis, Inventory Planning, Supply Chain, Pricing, Commercial Analytics or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel; pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL or other analytics tools will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of inventory, pricing, margins and basic supply-chain concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse inventory movement, stock levels, ageing and SKU-wise performance.
  • Support inventory planning and replenishment based on sales trends, demand and business requirements.
  • Identify slow-moving, non-moving and excess inventory and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyse product costs, selling prices, margins and profitability.
  • Support pricing decisions through market, competitor and internal data analysis.
  • Track SKU-level sales, inventory and margin performance.
  • Develop and maintain MIS, dashboards and regular business reports.
  • Analyse historical data to identify demand patterns and support forecasting.
  • Work closely with procurement and operations teams to ensure optimal inventory availability.
  • Partner with sales and finance teams to understand pricing and margin requirements.
  • Identify business trends, gaps and opportunities through data analysis.
  • Support ad-hoc business analysis and data-driven decision-making.

- About the Role

Key Responsibilities -

What Were Looking For -
