Job summary

HOSHŌ Digital Pte. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to bridge business needs with technical solutions.

You will gather and document requirements, analyze processes, and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver effective business solutions. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, strong communication skills, and proficiency with BA tools.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
• Strong understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Knowledge of BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and documentation tools.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to align on project objectives.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and other relevant documentation.
• Create workflow diagrams, use cases, wireframes, and process models as required.
• Support product planning, feature prioritization, and requirement clarification.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and reviews.
• Coordinate with QA to validate requirements and test coverage; support UAT.
• Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies in business processes and projects.
• Maintain requirement traceability and manage changes throughout the lifecycle.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project updates for stakeholders.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst (BA) to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business needs, gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing processes, and collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct meetings, interviews, and discussions to understand business needs and objectives.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), process flows, and other relevant documentation.
• Create workflow diagrams, use cases, wireframes, and process models as required.
• Support product planning, feature prioritization, and requirement clarification.
• Ensure that proposed solutions align with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Coordinate with QA teams to validate requirements and ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate deliverables against business requirements.
• Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and potential challenges in business processes and project requirements.
• Maintain requirement traceability and manage changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project updates for stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis when required.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Knowledge of BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management practices.
• Ability to create process flows, workflow diagrams, and business process documentation.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, development, and QA.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and documentation tools.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or similar platforms.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business requirements.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working on technology-driven projects is preferred.
