Job summary

People Impact seeks an experienced Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst to drive data-driven initiatives on enterprise data and cloud platforms. You will bridge business stakeholders with data engineers and analytics teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

The role requires deep experience in Azure data platforms, data modeling, and governance, with strong requirements gathering and agile delivery skills. Collaboration across stakeholders and iterative UAT are essential.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in Business Analysis / Business Systems Analysis.
• Strong understanding of Azure data platforms, ADLS, Databricks, and SQL.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data pipelines, and data lake/lakehouse concepts.
• Experience in data quality, governance, metadata, and data validation.
• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and UAT.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and data specifications.
• Work with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Databricks, and SQL.
• Define data models, data flows, ingestion, and transformation requirements.
• Establish data quality rules, validation checks, metadata, and governance requirements.
• Define KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and business reporting requirements.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and technical teams.
• Support Agile delivery, UAT, and end-to-end requirements traceability.
