Infosys Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Business Analyst with a strong background in business analysis, product ownership, and end-to-end commercial banking processes. The role requires deep domain expertise across lending, trade finance, payments, cash management, and modern banking platforms.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, translate needs into user stories, own the product backlog, and drive Agile delivery with cross-functional teams, including solution

Qualificações

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services or banking.
  • Experience as Business Analyst and/or Product Owner.
  • Hands-on experience in Commercial Banking, Lending, Trade Finance, Payments, Asset Finance, or Cash & Liquidity Management.
  • Familiar with both Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies.
  • Exposure to industry platforms Loan IQ or nCino.

Responsabilidades

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, processes, and system changes.
  • Act as Product Owner to define vision, prioritize backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Translate needs into user stories, Epics, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile.
  • Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Ensure backlog items are defined, estimated, and ready for development each sprint.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams for alignment.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, Testers, and SMEs to refine stories.
  • Lead UAT planning, scenario design, and validation for Agile increments.
  • Provide domain expertise across lending, trade finance, payments, and related platforms.
  • Build partnerships with senior stakeholders through clear communication and updates.

Job Description: Commercial Banking Business Analyst Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Business Analyst with a strong background in business analysis, product ownership, and end to end commercial banking processes. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise across lending, trade finance, payments, cash and liquidity management, and modern banking platforms. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent articulation, and effective stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements, process flows, and system changes.
  • Act as a Product Owner to define product vision, prioritize the product backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful delivery.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile best practices.
  • Work closely with Scrum Teams by participating in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑Ups, Backlog Grooming/Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Ensure backlog items are clearly defined, estimated, and ready for development teams each sprint.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment throughout Agile delivery cycles.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, Testers, and SMEs to refine user stories and ensure solution feasibility.
  • Support and enhance team agility by identifying process improvements and promoting Agile ways of working.
  • Conduct gap analysis, assess impacts, propose solutions, and contribute to iterative delivery of product enhancements.
  • Lead UAT planning, scenario design, and validation for system enhancements delivered in Agile increments.
  • Provide domain expertise across commercial lending, trade finance, payments, cash management, and related platforms (e.g., Loan IQ, nCino).
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior stakeholders through clear communication, expectation setting, and timely updates.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Experience Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience in financial services or banking domains.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner.
  • Hands‑on experience in at least one of the following areas: Commercial Banking Commercial Lending Trade Finance Payments Asset Finance Cash & Liquidity Management

Business Analyst should own the translation of these requirements into technical solutions and document those solutions in Functional Specification Designs. Leverage tools to draw Process flow diagrams which technical team can leverage to document technical design. Provide business partner application support which includes working with Downstream and upstream application managers, operation and business users, technology and vendor(s) to resolve issues. Work with various stakeholders across program and tech partners to ensure change is implemented smoothly. Continuously Liaise with project and program managers to review project timelines, Risks at the program level, Risk Mitigation strategies, etc. and solutions to meet each project management activities. Experience with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile/Lean methodologies. Must have strong problem‑solving abilities, self‑starter, sound team player Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines Strong ability to communicate effectively and influence decisions to achieve results Provide suitable documentation for Business‑as‑usual reference across different support levels (L1, L2 and L3). Thorough understanding and execution of support model with excellent triage and problem‑solving ability.
