Job summary

EinNel Technologies in Chennai is seeking a Bus Exteriors Engineer with 3–7 years of experience to design and develop exterior bus components. You will create 3D models, assemblies and detailed drawings while performing packaging, gap and interface studies.

Responsibilities include coordinating with body structure, interior and electrical teams, evaluating manufacturability and supporting prototype builds. Strong GD&T and surface development knowledge are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of bus / automotive exterior design and development.
• Experience with plastic, composite, sheet metal and exterior trim components.
• Good understanding of gap & flush, mounting strategies and component interfaces.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of surface development and engineering surfaces.
• Good design review and problem-solving skills.
