Job summary

EDAG Group in Maharashtra, India seeks an experienced exterior trims design engineer to contribute to front & rear bumper, radiator grille, claddings, and wheel arch liner development.

You will assess draft, tooling feasibility, ECE regulation evaluation, and prepare concept proposals; familiarity with DFx, GD&T, DVP, and packaging studies is preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive exterior product design and development experience.
• Benchmarking of exterior systems and feasibility analysis.
• Experience with draft checks, tooling feasibility, and ECE regulation evaluation.
• Ability to create concept proposals and packaging studies.
• Knowledge of DFx, GD&T, DFMEA and DVP is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Work on concept feasibility and prepare concept proposals.
• Conduct packaging studies for surrounding parts.
• Apply DFx principles and ensure manufacturability and serviceability.

• Should be excellent in Exteriors Product Design & Development.
• Knowledge & Experience in Benchmarking of Exterior systems
• Experience in Style Surface Feasibility & Analysis i.e. checking Draft, Tooling Feasibility, ECE Regulation Evaluation, creating concept proposals Packaging Study with surrounding parts.
• Work on concept feasibility and prepare concept proposals. Conduct Packaging Study.
• Should have experience in DFx (Design for Mfg, assembly & Serviceability)
• Knowledge in tooling, fixings, Materials, GD&T, stack up DFMEA, DVP etc. will be preferable.
