Job summary

EinNel Technologies in Chennai is seeking a Bus Body Structures Engineer with 3-7 years of hands-on experience to design and develop bus body structures, including frame, pillars, roof, floor, cross members and reinforcements.

You will create 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings, perform packaging and manufacturability studies, apply GD&T and tolerance stack-up, and coordinate with CAE, manufacturing and integration teams to drive prototypes, testing and design validation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of bus body structure / BIW design and development.
• Experience with sheet metal, tubular structures, weldments, joints and structural components.
• Good understanding of materials, joining methods and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
• Understanding of structural load paths and basic strength requirements.
• Good cross-functional coordination and problem-solving skills.
