Job summary

Axis Bank seeks a Branch Relationship Officer for the Branch Network to drive customer acquisition and deepen relationships across liabilities, assets and third-party products.

Qualifications

• Graduate with MBA/PGDM preferred.
• 1–5 years BFSI, sales or relationship mgmt experience.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new customers for Savings and Current Accounts and other retail products.
• Cross-sell Fixed Deposits, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Cards, Personal Loans and other products.
• Build and maintain relationships to drive engagement and retention.
• Generate referrals and business leads through branch walk-ins and local activity.
• Support branch sales initiatives and achieve assigned targets.
• Handle customer queries, service requests and complaints promptly.
• Ensure adherence to KYC, compliance and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and update customer information in systems.
• Coordinate with branch operations and product teams for seamless service.
• Participate in branch marketing campaigns and customer meets.

Role Purpose

To drive customer acquisition, deepen existing customer relationships, and achieve business targets across liabilities, assets, and third-party products while delivering a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire new customers for Savings Accounts, Current Accounts, and other retail banking products.
• Cross-sell banking products including Fixed Deposits, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Credit Cards, Personal Loans, and other retail products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to enhance engagement and retention.
