Job summary

Axis Bank is seeking a Branch Relationship Head to lead a team of 57 Relationship Managers in Mumbai. The role focuses on driving customer engagement, liabilities growth, and cross-sell opportunities while upholding sales processes and a superior customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years in Retail Banking or related areas, with proven leadership and portfolio management skills and a track record of developing and mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree from a recognized university.
• 5–10 years of experience in Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Relationship Management, or Liabilities Sales.
• Experience in team handling and portfolio management preferred.
• Strong leadership and customer relationship and sales management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 57 Relationship Managers.
• Drive growth in liabilities, fee income, and portfolio quality.
• Mentor and coach RMs to deliver superior customer experience.
• Monitor portfolio performance across NTB and ETB segments.
• Improve customer acquisition, retention, and wallet share.
• Drive cross-selling of banking, investment, and wealth products.
• Ensure effective customer engagement and adherence to sales processes.
• Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with Branch Heads and business partners to achieve business objectives.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of Relationship Managers.
