Job summary

Tata Capital is hiring a Sales Officer in Karnataka for microfinance operations. You will drive disbursements, manage collections and build a strong field presence to reach target customers.

You will lead field teams, assess new regions, and maintain portfolio quality while ensuring excellent customer service and local brand growth across assigned territories.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Fresher to 5 years' experience in microfinance sales.

Responsibilities

• Achieve disbursement targets with minimum delinquency.
• Identify Joint liability Groups and disbursed loans to suit target customers and geographies.
• Develop and manage a team across territories for deeper market penetration.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions and opportunities for expansion.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management; achieve daily/weekly collections targets.
• Follow up on disbursed loans, especially those not paying on time.
• Undertake regular field visits and loan applicant meetings.
• Maintain portfolio quality by tracking dues, non-starters, delinquencies and frauds.
• Build strong client relationships and brand identification with potential customers.
• Ensure weekly/daily center meetings and visits.
• Freshers to a maximum of 5 years' experience as a sales officer in microfinance.
• Basic understanding of microfinance and JLG model working preferred.

• To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency

• Enabling business growth by developing and managing a teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.


• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas & opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.


• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management, achieving daily / weekly collections targets


• Makes a close follow up of the disbursed loans, especially of the ones not paying on time.


• Undertake regular field visits, Centre Meeting and loan applicants


• Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking & controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, & Frauds.


• Build strong client relationships both internally and externally and build a strong brand identification with potential customers.


• Ensuring weekly / daily meetings & visit to centre


• Fresher to maximum of 5yrs exp + as a sales officer in microfinance business


• Basic understanding about Microfinance business and JLG model working would be preferred.
