Job Description

• Receive and assist customerwalk-ins at the branch for gold loan inquiries and applications
• Conduct gold purity assessment andassaying using fire assay, karat meter, and acid testing methods
• Evaluate gold ornaments for weight, purity, and applicable loan-to-value (LTV) as per RBI guidelines
• Process loan applications routedto the branch by Loan Managers (LMs), ensuring end-to-end documentation anddisbursement
• Verify customer KYC documents andmaintain compliance with internal and regulatory norms
• Coordinate with LMs and branchoperations for smooth loan processing and turnaround
• Ensure accurate gold storage,tagging, and custodianship as per SOPs
• Maintain zero deviation from auditand compliance requirements during all gold handling activities
• Deliver superior customerexperience at the branch, ensuring resolution of queries and concerns

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in gold loanoperations at a bank, NBFC, or gold loan company
• Hands-on experience in goldassaying — fire assays, karat meter testing, and acid testing
• Prior experience working in a branch model (not DSA/field sales)
• Knowledge of RBI LTV norms,KYC/AML compliance, and gold loan documentation
• Ability to handle branch-levelloan processing independently
