Job summary

Pikndel is expanding its last-mile operations in Delhi and seeks a Branch Incharge to lead daily branch activities. You will drive rider productivity, oversee order processing and ensure costs stay within plan while meeting SLAs.

The role requires overseeing operations, coordinating with field teams and central support, and maintaining safe, compliant branch conditions. Weekend shifts and hands-on leadership are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in last-mile logistics or hyperlocal delivery.
• Proven team leadership and hands-on operations management.
• Understanding of delivery SLAs, cost metrics and productivity tracking.
• Comfortable using tech platforms for tracking and reporting.
• Strong communication with internal teams and riders.
• Willing to work weekends and rotating shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead day-to-day branch operations.
• Supervise field staff, riders, and sorting/warehouse teams.
• Ensure timely sorting, dispatch and delivery within SLAs.
• Track rider attendance, performance and productivity.
• Monitor KPIs like on-time delivery, accuracy, returns.
• Oversee inventory movement and handovers to riders.
• Coordinate with central/city ops for escalations.
• Ensure safety, hygiene and SOP adherence in the branch.
• Report daily KPIs and propose improvement plans.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff.
• Act as single point of accountability for branch ops.

Pikndel is a fast-growing quick commerce and logistics company enabling 1-hour, same-day, and next-day deliveries through a tech-powered network of dark stores and last-mile hubs. We`re transforming how D2C and e-commerce brands deliver across major metro cities.

Position Overview:

As a Branch Incharge, you will lead one of our last-mile delivery branches, ensuring smooth daily operations, optimal rider productivity, efficient order processing, and cost control. You’ll work closely with the Cluster Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service while maintaining operational efficiency and adherence to SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the assigned branch/hub.
• Supervise and coordinate with field executives, riders, and warehouse/sorting staff.
• Ensure timely order sorting, dispatch, and delivery within committed SLAs.
• Track and manage rider attendance, performance, and productivity.
• Monitor key logistics metrics including on-time delivery, order accuracy, NDR, and returns.
• Maintain inventory movement records and oversee handovers to riders.
• Coordinate with central and city operations teams for issue resolution and escalations.
• Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with SOPs within the branch premises.
• Track and report daily KPIs, highlighting areas of improvement and actionable plans.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new riders and support staff.
• Act as the single point of accountability for all operational matters in the branch.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in last-mile logistics, e-commerce, or hyperlocal delivery.
• Team leadership skills with hands-on experience managing ground operations.
• Understanding of delivery SLAs, cost metrics, and productivity tracking.
• Comfortable using tech platforms for tracking, reporting, and rider management.
