Job summary

Hireginie is seeking a Branch Collection Manager for our NBFC client with multiple locations across India. You will lead 0–89 DPD recovery, coordinate field teams and agencies, and ensure timely cash collection while adhering to RBI guidelines.

The role requires 5+ years in collections (LAP, home loan, personal loan), a graduate degree, and strong stakeholder management. You will report to Regional/Area Heads and drive MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in collection (LAP, home loan & personal loan).
• Experience handling 0-89 DPD and preventing 90+ DPD/NPA.
• Knowledge of RBI guidelines and company collection policies.
• Strong communication and supervisory capabilities.
• Willingness to work across multiple branches/locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recovery on delinquent accounts 0–89 DPD in a branch.
• Prevent slippage into NPA (90+ DPD) with timely follow-ups.
• Monitor 0-30, 31-60, 61-89 buckets and report results.
• Coordinate with field collection team/agency.
• Manage cash flow and deposits; ensure compliance.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS/collection reports.
• Handle customer grievances and resolve disputes.

About the role:

The Branch Collection Manager is responsible for managing 089 DPD collections and ensuring timely recovery to prevent accounts from slipping into the 90+ DPD/NPA stage. The role involves customer follow-ups, field collection team/agency coordination, high-risk account monitoring, cash/deposit management, and adherence to RBI/company collection guidelines. The position also handles customer grievances and collection MIS/reporting to the Regional/Area Heads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing and executing recovery efforts on delinquent accounts in 0 to 89 Days Past Due (DPD) within a specific branch.
• Their goal is to prevent slippages into the NPA (90+ DPD) stage through timely follow-ups, customer engagement, and resolution strategies.
• Monitor and follow up with customers in 0-30, 31-60, and 61-89 buckets.
• Contact customers through calls, SMS, or visits for recovery, educate customers on payment obligations and resolve disputes amicably.
• Closely monitor high-risk accounts and take proactive measures, ensuring accounts don't roll forward into 90+ DPD (NPA bucket).
• Ensure fair collection practices as per RBI & company guidelines, Handle customer grievances and escalation complex cases.
• Submit daily/weekly/monthly collection reports to Regional/Area Heads.
