Job summary

Talenttap Management Consultants is seeking a Brake Parts Design Engineer to lead the design and development of brake components for local and global projects. You will coordinate development schedules with internal and external stakeholders and establish technical guidelines within the QCDP framework.

You will head the GFE group to determine the best DT within QCDP, manage supplier convergence, and ensure timely deliverables such as plans, drawings, and vehicle parts.

Responsibilities

• Design & Development of Brake Parts for Local/Global projects.
• Prepare Development Master Schedule and align with stakeholders.
• Propose QCDP frameworks and define related technical guidelines.
• Lead and animate the GFE Group to propose best DT within QCDP.
• Manage supplier convergence within GFE domain.
• Ensure timely provision of GFE deliverables (Plan, Dwg release, parts for vehicle build).
• Manage risks, carry out ANPQP monitoring (POE/POI) and milestone convergence.
• Adhere to Vehicle Parts Design Process (O54).
• Strong proficiency in brake parts validation – component and vehicle levels.
• Provide technical solutions (with QCT) for brake development/market feedback.
• Synthesize milestone deliverables proactively.
• Ensure on-time DEVO and drawing releases for project milestones.
• Ensure parts availability for vehicle build at right times.
• Address Market Quality problems with DQC/Customer.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1. Responsible for Design & Development of Brake Parts for Project Scope (Local /Global).
• 2. Preparation of Development Master Schedule and Aligning with all stake holders (Internal & External).
• 3. Propose QCDP frameworks within its scope and decide on the associated technical guidelines in relation to the Project Targets.
• 4. Lead and animate its GFE Group to propose the best DT within the QCDP deployed by the Project.
• 5. Manage Supplier convergence within the domain scope (GFE).
• 6. Ensure timely provision of GFE deliverables (ex: Plan, Dwg release, and parts for vehicle build with right quality)
• 7. Manage risks within its scope, carry out ANPQP monitoring (POE/POI) and convergence of expectations within its scope at milestones.
• 8. Vehicle Parts Design Process (O54) adherence.
• 9. Strong Proficiency in Brake parts related validation - component level & vehicle level.
• 10. Ability to provide technical solution (with QCT) for Brake related development / Market feedback's if any.
• 11. Responsible for Milestone deliverables synthesis pro-actively.
• 12. On Time - DEVO and Dwg releases for Project Milestones.
• 13. Ensure Parts (of relevant part maturity) are available for vehicle build (at right time).
• 14. Market Quality Problem Analysis & Solution Provision to DQC/Customer.
