Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Certified Trainer with extensive medical coding experience to lead and mentor training programs in Chennai. The role requires 7–8 years in medical coding and 3–4 years of relevant work experience, CPC certification, and proficiency in ICD and CPT updates.

You will create content, train resources, and coordinate with Supervisors/ Training Manager. The candidate must be fluent in English, adaptable to new specialties, and skilled in Excel and PowerPoint to prepare

Qualifications

• Certified Trainer with 7–8 years in Medical Coding and 3–4 years relevant experience.
• Expert in ICD and CPT training with updates.
• Strong content creation and training program development.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training across client-specific, industry updates, and general coding topics.
• Coordinate with Supervisors/Training Manager.
• Audit charts and new specialty work for new hires.
• Develop onboarding programs and skill-gap training.
• Stay updated with latest medical coding updates and teaching methods.

• Certified Trainer with minimum of 7-8 years of Experience in Medical Coding field with 3-4 year relevant work experience.
• Should have experience in training ICD and CPT and should we aware of the latest updates
• Preferred Specialty – EM Multispecialty and Surgery
• Certification – CPC certified
• Proficient in English is must.
• Flexible to take up New specialty learnings when and where required and train the resources
• Expert in creating content and track the changes
• MS Excel and MS Powerpoint knowledge is must
• Must be responsible in doing all levels of training including Client specifics, Industry Updates and General coding Training by coordinating with the Supervisors/ Training Manager
• Must be flexible to do audits of charts processed by the new hires, any new specialty work done by the team and regular audits as and when required.
• Good to have - Evaluate employee performance to gauge where skills are lacking
• Good to have - Develop onboarding programs for new employees.
• Good to have - Research new updates and teaching methods.
