Job summary

Gautam Modi Group is seeking a Bodyshop Technician (Denter) in Mumbai to handle all denting jobs and ensure quality repair of body panels as per established procedures. The role requires coordinating with Service Advisors, obtaining customer approvals, and maintaining precise job records.

The technician will participate in training to gain and maintain Audi qualifications, supervise helpers, and ensure tools, parts, and literature are properly managed in the workshop.

Responsibilities

• The Bodyshop Technician (Denter) is responsible for all the denting jobs that come into the workshop.
• Perform body panel repair work as directed, within manufacturer’s timescales and in accordance with established and documented procedures in ELSAPRO
• Ensure that the body panels are repaired / replaced only after due approvals from the customer / Insurance firm
• If further work is required inform Service Advisor and follow the necessary steps for making sure the customer is contacted
• Provide written details on completed Job orders, ensuring hours and materials used are accurately and appropriately recorded and ensure that job card is signed
• Inform the Parts department if a part needs to be ordered
• Ensure that any unused part/s is returned to parts department immediately
• Participate in required training in-house or external to gain and maintain Audi Qualification
• Monitoring of the work done by Bodyshop helper
• Ensure that all special tools and equipment and technical literature is returned in clean and working condition to their original location.
• Cleanliness of the Bodyshop and upkeep of body shop tools & equipment
