Biomedical Service Engineer

Job summary

Alliance Transfusion in India is seeking a field service engineer to install, commission, service and maintain biomedical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities.

You will diagnose and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and provide training to hospital staff as needed.

This role requires travel across Delhi NCR and other areas, with emphasis on safety, quality and timely service reports.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of biomedical/medical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical and electrical/mechanical issues in medical equipment.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per company SOPs.
• Attend customer service calls and provide timely technical support.
• Maintain accurate service reports, installation reports, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with customers regarding equipment performance and technical issues.
• Provide product demonstrations and basic user training to hospital staff when required.
• Coordinate with the internal technical and service team for spare parts and repairs.
• Ensure proper handling, testing, and calibration of equipment.
• Follow company safety, quality, and service procedures.
• Travel to customer locations across Delhi NCR and other areas as required.
