Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented architecture or engineering student or recent graduate to serve as a specialized BIM Modeller for our R&D team. You will construct 3D models in Autodesk Revit to test, validate, and optimize data translation workflows within our simulationHub environments. You will collaborate closely with software developers and QA engineers to build specific architectural scenarios that ensure geometry, space boundaries, and parameter data are accurately extracted and translated by our software.

Key Responsibilities

• Build custom 3D models in Autodesk Revit to replicate complex architectural scenarios.
• Create meticulous test cases focusing on Revit Rooms and Spaces, ensuring room-bounding elements, area calculations, and volume computations are perfectly defined.
• Export Revit models to interoperability formats to verify structural and geometric data integrity.
• Populate and manipulate Revit parameters to test data extraction accuracy.
• Perform model health checks and clean-ups to keep files lightweight and error-free.
• Maintain an organized, well-documented library of Revit test files, detailing each file’s purpose.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Diploma or Bachelor program in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong practical working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
• Proven ability to work accurately with Revit Rooms, Spaces, analytical models, and room-bounding elements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and curiosity about how software interprets architectural geometry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with industry interoperability schemas.
